What’s New in E&T?
The E&T Committee approved the TVPPA E&T Services 2012 Strategic Plan during their 2011 third quarter review meeting.
The 2012 E&T Strategic Plan includes goals, outcomes and an action plan for business development and technical training, marketing and administrative support.
The plan’s goals are to:
Develop a review schedule for all business-development and technical training programs for continuous improvement and upgrade
Expand subject-matter expert and instructor portfolio
Create and communicate a transition process and timeline for the revised Lineman Apprenticeship Program (LAP)
Create an expedited process to identify and develop and deliver training on emerging issues
Expand marketing strategy and outreach inside and outside the Tennessee Valley
Present a long-term training facilities solution to the TVPPA Board of Directors
Milestones in the plan will be implemented and tracked by TVPPA staff and reported quarterly to the E&T Committee.
Just the FAQs...

We continue to get many questions about the revised LAP and the changes between programs. In response, we have put together a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) sheet. Click here to download the PDF.
