REGIONAL BUSINESS MANAGER - This position reports to the National Sales Manager and has significant contact with existing members/customers and prospective members/customers and is responsible for the proactive management of member/customer relationships in assigned territory and also responsible for the identification, qualification and follow through regarding prospective members/customers in traditional and non-traditional markets. Responsible for the development and performance of all sales and member/customer relationship activities in assigned territory.

Responsible for creating and managing relationships with existing members/customers and prospective members/customers. Maintains a high level of interaction and communication with existing members/customers and prospective members/customers with regard to growth strategies within NISC’s traditional and non-traditional markets; as well as assisting in the identification and pursuit of emerging business opportunities.

Essential Functions: Develops and maintains strong, professional relationships with all existing members/customers and prospective members/customers. Assists in the development of NISC’s sales and marketing plans and programs and responsible to effectively execute such plans in keeping with NISC's Shared Values and in alignment with our strategic sales and growth goals. Maintains accurate records of all proposals and current negotiations, including completion of monthly sales activity reports. Maintains an up-to-date knowledge of the NISC solutions and services we provide to members/customers. Actively participates in the design and development of collateral sales and marketing material. Maintains an up-to-date knowledge of our competitors. Maintains an up-to-date knowledge of our traditional and non-traditional markets. Updates appropriate databases with current members/customers and prospective members/customers regarding organizational profile, product and services utilization, satisfaction levels, etc. Attends conferences and trade shows as appropriate to promote NISC‘s solutions to current members/customers and prospective members/customers. Participates as appropriate in industry association forums, councils, and conferences. Utilizes appropriate project management techniques to effectively manage all commitments to assigned members within deadlines. Responsible for the NISC Sales Cycle in respective region. Proactively investigates assigned members’ effective use of NISC solutions and related satisfaction and seeks to remedy issues and problems by providing support or training. Provides information and solutions to members to facilitate their full utilization and optimization of the NISC products and services purchased. Monitors change requests for all assigned members and coordinates appropriate prioritization that will maximize NISC’s responsiveness to members. Assesses the member’s need for additional training and coordinates resources through the Learning Center to meet those needs. Other duties as assigned.

Desired Job Experience: Generally requires 10 years of product sales and/or support experience either at NISC or similar related experience. Exceptional customer relationship management skills. Ability to establish credibility and project an executive presence to interact effectively with current members/customers and prospective members/customers and industry representatives at all levels of their organization. Knowledge of NISC’s utility software applications, technical architecture, and integration of NISC’s utility products and services. Strong knowledge of rural electric cooperative and municipal utility industry, and related current events and trends. Ability to understand the dynamics and issues related to the life cycle of a member’s IT solution and effectively counsel them on potential opportunities for improvement. Knowledge of all areas of utility business operations. Strong negotiating skills. Ability to identify and effectively resolve key issues with clients. Knowledge of the industry IT standards, terminology, and typical work processes. Project management skills. Possess excellent writing, editing, communications and interpersonal skills. Possess superior presentation skills to audiences of all sizes. Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities within critical deadlines. Ability to interact in a positive manner with internal and external contacts. Ability to maintain the highest level of professionalism and ethical behavior. RELAY ENGINEER, JOHNSON CITY POWER BOARD - A job opening exists in the JCPB Engineering Department for a Relay Engineer. Position will be responsible for performing reliability testing, preventative maintenance, system inspections/evaluations, troubleshooting, repairs and engineering services on power systems and equipment including low, medium and high voltage systems in such a manner as to ensure optimal system reliability.

Successful candidate must have • Extensive knowledge of principles and application of protective relays • Knowledge of power system operations, system restoration, and analysis of events • Broad technical background with extensive experience in protective relay system design, coordination, setting, programming, and troubleshooting • Working knowledge of the generation, transmission, and distribution systems, stations and equipment and associated safety policies, practices, and procedures • Experience with fiber optic distribution systems a plus • Thorough knowledge of and experience in design and repair or rehab of electric substation, distribution, and relay-control systems • Strong ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing • Proficient computer skills including MS-Excel & Word.

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering strongly preferred or a two-year degree in Electronics Technology or associated field of study will be considered with five (5) or more years of work experience directly related to the field of substation relays. Five years of protective relay coordination, programming, and setting background with advanced knowledge of symmetrical components & protective relay coordination modeling programs desired.

SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR - PES Energize, Pulaski, TN, seeks a Systems Administrator.

Function: Under direction of the VP/Broadband Operations or designated supervisor, assist in the design, installation and maintenance of Pulaski Electric System’s various computer systems and networking components. Employee is also responsible for various software implementation,integration and training.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS/ESSENTIAL TASKS 1. Comply with and enforce all safety rules and regulations. 2. Understand all PES operating practices and policies. 3. Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources. 4. Provide user support for PES information technology, taking support calls and assisting with general network and systems maintenance. 5. Along with other departmental staff, develop and implement plans for server and workstation hardware/software purchase, upgrade, decommission, and disposal. 6. Along with other departmental staff, develop and implement plans for software system roll-out including setup, training, and user support, maintaining and improving systems. 7. Along with other departmental staff, develop an annual budget for systems and network upgrade and repair. 8. Perform network administration activities such as backups, restoration and new account setup. 9. Implement software integration and develop projects to improve company efficiency and productivity. 10. Review and recommend computer tools and software to support organizational mission. 11. Assist in training with new software and hardware implementation. 12. Maintain internal PES phone system. 13. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE: 1. Must have knowledge of hardware and software installations and basic troubleshooting. 2. Knowledge of Desktop Microsoft Operating Systems and Office Applications (2007), Exchange 2007 and Windows Server 2008/2008R2/2012. 3. Basic TCP/IP networking skills required. 4. Microsoft and Cisco certifications a plus but not required. 5. Working knowledge of FTTH architecture. 6. Candidate should have a minimum of four (4) years of relevant technical related professional experience, experience with direct support, customer service, training and project management.
