Noe
Steve Noe, a veteran of some 25 years at Knoxville, TN, UB and TVA, has joined TVPPA’s Chattanooga, TN-based staff.
Noe is TVPPA’s new director of Strategic Energy Solutions. He’ll focus his efforts on developing energy options for TVPPA members and report to Clint Wilson, TVPPA’s vice president for Engineering/Energy Innovations.
“Steve’s experience at KUB and TVA provides our members with knowledge of the industry and the changing marketplace,” said TVPPA Executive Vice President Betsey Kirk McCall. “He is perfectly positioned to successfully perform his new role – delivering sustainable energy solutions to our members.”
Noe comes to TVPPA after more than three years at TVA, during which time he worked in renewables. When he left TVA, he was manager of its mid-scale renewables group.
Prior to that, Noe logged more than 20 years at KUB, where he started in substation design. He later managed KUB’s operations center and overhead construction before shifting to renewables and key accounts.
A Knoxville native, Noe earned his undergraduate degree in electrical engineering from the University of Tennessee.
