Betsey McCall

By the time she started at TVPPA, Betsey McCall had two titles in her portfolio.

TVPPA President/CEO Doug Peters announced in November 2017 that McCall, a former TVA executive, had agreed to join TVPPA Jan. 1 as executive vice president of Technical/Shared Services. Peters said then that McCall would also serve as vice president of Seven States Power Corp. (7SPC), pending approval of its board of directors.

That approval came Dec. 12, with a unanimous vote of 7SPC’s directors.

Peters said the combination of McCall, TVPPA Vice President/Technical Services Clint Wilson and Steve Adams comprise the “right nucleus to take Seven States where it needs to be.” (Adams retired Dec. 31 from TVPPA and 7SPC, but will continue as a part-time contractor.)

McCall spent the past seven years at TVA, most recently as director of Fleet Optimization in Power Operations. She also served in Regulatory Compliance/Policy Governance, Power Origination and as senior manager for Coal/Transportation Origination.

Prior to joining TVA, McCall was a Chattanooga, TN, attorney. Her practice focused on representing clients in commercial transactions, mergers and real estate. She earned her undergraduate degree in Business Administration/Finance and her law degree at the University of Tennessee.
