TVPPA members can now register for the association’s 76th Annual Conference. The three-day event will be held May 16-18 at Perdido Beach Resort in Orange Beach, Ala.

This year we will bring current issues to the forefront with speakers who offer insight and ideas to help solve them. The topics on this year’s agenda include: workforce and recruiting challenges, supply chain difficulties, disaster planning and recovery, federal grant availability and processes, EVs, solar, battery impacts and much more.

Local power company leaders will have the opportunity to attend the annual business meeting, network, and attend educational and informational sessions intended to help enhance the great work they already do to serve their communities. Industry suppliers are also encouraged to attend to meet these leaders and share how they may be a resource for quality products and services that can make a positive difference.

Keynote speaker, Matt Mayberry, will speak on Transformational Leadership: The Building Blocks to Becoming a Game-Changing Leader. Mayberry is an internationally acclaimed keynote speaker and leading global expert in leadership development, culture change, and organizational performance. He has been named as one of the Top 30 Leadership Thought Leaders in the world for 2022 by the research organization Global Gurus, and his insights on leadership and business performance have been featured in Forbes, Business Insider, Fortune,  on Fox News, NBC, ESPN, and via several other major media outlets. Prior to becoming an in–demand keynote speaker, author and management consultant, Matt was a linebacker for the Chicago Bears. His playing days give him a unique perspective and platform to apply those lessons directly to business with a laser focus centered around leadership, culture, peak performance, and teamwork. His goal at TVPPA’s Annual Conference is to provide guidance to our membership as they navigate an ever-changing industry and lead innovation in the Valley.
