The Tennessee Valley Public Power Association announced a special-called meeting of its regular membership scheduled for Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. CDT.
This meeting was called by a unanimous vote of the TVPPA Board of Directors on March 15, 2021 in order to bring the 2021 Member Resolutions before the full membership and will be held at the Embassy Suites hotel in Murfreesboro, Tenn.
Voting members may designate an alternate delegate from their organizations no later than May 7, 2021. Notice of an alternate delegate must be sent in writing to TVPPA CEO Doug Peters at least ten (10) calendar days in advance of the Special Meeting. The alternate delegate must be a full-time employee of the regular member. While the by-laws do not allow proxy voting, due to the COVID-19 pandemic and in accordance with the emergency bylaw provision adopted by Resolution 2021-01-02 of the TVPPA Board of Directors, members may participate in this meeting electronically.
