TVPPA congratulates Board Member, Ronny Rowland, on 50 years of service at Prentiss County Electric Power Association (PCEPA) in his home state of Mississippi.

Rowland, who is currently serving his second term on our Board of Directors, first joined the board in 1994. He went on to serve as President in 2001, and received the Distinguished Service Award in 2002.

Since 1982, Rowland has served as General Manager of PCEPA, celebrating his 50th anniversary of working with the organization on May 31 of this year. He began his career with PCEPA in 1971, working first as an electrical engineer, before being named Assistant Manager in 1978.

Along with his leadership at PCEPA, Rowland has served as General Manager of Prentiss Connect, the broadband subsidiary of PCEPA, since 2019. The subsidiary recently finished a two-year project to offer fiber services to all PCEPA electric members.   

Rowland’s other leadership roles include: National Rural Electric Cooperative Association Telecommunications Standing Committee from 2006 to 2012, Board Member of the Prentiss County Development Association from 1982 to present and Chairman of Deacons at Oak Hill Baptist Church from 1990 to present.
