As communities around the Valley begin to reopen and adapt to new standards for doing business in the age of COVID-19, TVPPA’s Education & Training team will resume in-person courses in mid-June. Online classes will continue to be offered as well.
TVPPA is prioritizing Linemen Apprentice Final Exams for those who need to complete their apprenticeship programs. The top-out exams will be administered on June 16-18 and again June 23-25 at the Bellefonte Training Center in Scottsboro, Ala.
In addition to these on-site classes, TVPPA will continue to offer virtual training. The next online class, Employee Handbook Development Workshop, is scheduled for June 25 and registration is now open.
July education and training programs will resume after Independence Day and will include additional remote learning opportunities in business and leadership training as well as in-person lineman apprentice classes to be held in Scottsboro.
