TVPPA’s Valley Rally, the organization’s annual visit to Washington, D.C. to help keep the interests of members in front of their legislative representatives, will take on a different look this year. Amidst the uncertainty around ongoing pandemic-related operational and travel restrictions and, in the interest of the health and safety of our members, TVPPA is working to organize a virtual Valley Rally in lieu of in-person visits as originally scheduled for June 15-17.
TVPPA staff and the Government Relations Advisory Group will continue working to finalize details. “This challenge gives us an exceptional opportunity to engage with our legislators in a new way and enhances our ability to address issues in real time,” says executive vice president of member services & strategic relations, Danette Scudder.
