Backed by our Government Relations Advisory Group (GRAG) and Washington, D.C. partners at Meguire Whitney, TVPPA advocates for the interests of member systems with TVA and at the federal level. We host the Valley Rally, an annual legislative fly-in event in Washington, D.C.,  and meet with lawmakers and policy-making bodies throughout the year to discuss energy policy, industry challenges and the growing demand for energy. We avocate for the interests of TVA as the energy producer for our region and our members who power life for 10 million people across the 7-state Tennessee Valley. We also partner with local power companies to highlight the value of our region’s unique public power model in their communities.
