Lineworker Apprentice Program Labs Updated for 2027
Following input from experienced lineworkers and supervisors, TVPPA’s Education & Training Committee has updated the Lineworker Apprenticeship Program (LAP) lab schedule to better reflect the changing needs and expectations of lineworkers in the field. All LAP labs have also been numbered to make it easier to identify courses within the program and track an apprentice’s progression.
In addition, supervisors can now access apprentice exam evaluations directly through our Learning Management System, allowing them to view results immediately following testing.
Find the new lab schedule below:
- Lab 1: Lineworker Apprenticeship Climbing Essentials
- Lab 2: Lineworker Apprenticeship Digger/Aerial Device
- Lab 3: Lineworker Apprenticeship Fundamentals
- Lab 4: Lineworker Apprenticeship Underground
- Lab 5: Lineworker Apprenticeship Construction
- Lab 6: Lineworker Apprenticeship Operations
- Lab 7: Lineworker Apprenticeship Troubleshooting
- Lab 8: Lineworker Apprenticeship Final Exam
