Registration Now Open for 2027 Education & Training Classes

A new year is a chance to think about what comes next — a new skill, greater expertise, a certificate, or the next step in your career. And with registration now open for the 2027 Education & Training schedule, this is a great time to start building a training plan for the year ahead.

TVPPA Education & Training offers training and classes for employees across nearly every area of a local power company. Each of our classes and programs are designed to build the real-world knowledge and hands-on skills employees need to succeed in their roles and grow throughout their careers.

Achieve Your Career Goals with Our Certificate Programs

For those looking for a longer-term goal, TVPPA’s certificate programs offer a structured path for building expertise in a particular area. Start planning now, and 2027 could be the year you begin — or complete — a TVPPA certificate.

There’s even more to explore in 2027, with new programs designed to help TVPPA members build expertise at every stage of their careers. The new Administrative Professionals Program strengthens the skills of employees who help keep their organizations running smoothly. Experienced line design and staking professionals can take their skills further through the Advanced Line Design & Staking series, and Certified Utility Accountants can continue building their expertise through the new Advanced Certified Utility Accountant Program.

Plus, we've added new classes to both our Utility Human Resources and Advanced Certified Power Executive programs for you to explore. Keep your eyes open for more details on our new employee handbook and succession planning classes.
