Lake Guntersville

Make plans now to join TVPPA and executive leadership coach Tangela Johnson on Alabama’s beautiful Lake Guntersville on Thursday and Friday, March 7-8 for our next session of Leaders First, Culture Second: Inclusion the Way Forward. By joining this class alongside a small group of fellow electric utility industry professionals, you will have the opportunity to reflect on your level of emotional intelligence in the context of leading inclusion.

Additionally, you will learn to create a strategic framework that builds a more diverse and inclusive culture and attracts the next generation of top talent. Hosted by Electric Board of Guntersville, this session is designed to be an immersive learning experience in a charming lake setting.

“This class allows the participants to have open discussions that are often complicated and uncomfortable subjects for people to discuss,” said Jason Kirkland, General Manager of Electric Board of Guntersville and inclusion class participant. “Ms. Johnson’s expertise and eloquence allows the group to see where we were concerning our outlook and opinions of others and have the vision to see where we need to grow. We feel like anything we can do to facilitate the growth of others is always in our best interest.”
