Membership Benefits
TVPPA values all our members. Their support allows us to provide a variety of important products and services to the electric utilities in the Tennessee Valley.
Our membership is divided into four categories. Each level up receives additional benefits.
Regular Members
Regular members include our 154 distribution systems. Benefits include:
- Reduced rates for training and educational courses
- Reduced rates for TVPPA conferences
- Free subscription to TVPPA News Magazine
- Listing in the Annual Member Directory and a complimentary copy

Affiliate Members
Affiliate Members are governmental or cooperatively-owned organizations owning and/or operating generation, transmission and/or distribution systems who are not regular members. Benefits of Affiliate Members include:
- Reduced rates for training and educational courses
- Reduced rates for TVPPA conferences and your name badge will display an Affiliate Member ribbon
- Free subscription to TVPPA News Magazine and a description of your company published annually as part of a list of all Affiliate Members
- Listing in the Annual Member Directory, a complimentary copy, and reduced rates for extra copies
- Eligible for inclusion in the Distributors Insurance Company program*
Associate Members
Associate members include other organizations such as statewide associations and companies that provide products and services to the electric utility industry.
- Reduced rates for training and educational courses
- Reduced rates for TVPPA conferences, your name badge will display an Associate Member ribbon, and you’ll receive a 25% discount on exhibit and display space costs
- Free subscription to TVPPA News Magazine and first time Associate Members receive a complimentary quarter page ad
- Listing in the Annual Member Directory, a complimentary copy, reduced rates for extra copies, and discounts for advertising
Honorary Members
Honorary members are named by the board of directors to acknowledge service to TVPPA and public power.
