Membership Benefits

TVPPA values all our members. Their support allows us to provide a variety of important products and services to the electric utilities in the Tennessee Valley.

Our membership is divided into four categories. Each level up receives additional benefits.

Regular Members

Regular members include our 153 distribution systems. Benefits include:

  • Reduced rates for training and educational courses
  • Reduced rates for TVPPA conferences
  • Free subscription to TVPPA Magazine
  • Listing in the Annual Member Directory and a complimentary copy

Affiliate Members

As a TVPPA Affiliate member, you can take advantage of the many learning and networking opportunities TVPPA offers. From the extensive technical and business management classes offered by TVPPA’s Education & Training department to eight annual conferences that cover topics including Customer Experience, Human Resources, Engineering, Operations and Technology, Safety and Security and many other critical issues, there is no shortage of ways you can learn and grow with TVPPA..

Benefits of Affiliate members include:

  • Reduced rates for Education & Training courses
  • Reduced rates for TVPPA conferences, advance notification for all conferences, and your name badge will display an Affiliate member ribbon
  • Free subscription to TVPPA Magazine and a description of your company published annually as part of a list of all Affiliate Members
  • Listing in the Annual Member Directory, a complimentary copy, reduced rates for extra copies, and advertising opportunities

  • A complimentary subscription to TVPPA Connection, a monthly learning and leadership newsletter

  • Access to significant discounts on new vehicle purchases through our Fleet Vehicle Incentive Program

Associate Members

As a TVPPA Associate member, you have the opportunity to connect with local power providers in the Tennessee Valley that serve more than 10 million customers. Since the mid-1930s, these consumer-owned utilities have been major contributors to the quality of life enjoyed by residents in the seven-state region. Relationships with organizations like yours are an essential part of their success.

Honorary Members

Honorary members are named by the board of directors to acknowledge service to TVPPA and public power.
