On Tuesday, May 21, energy journalist, author and documentarian Robert Bryce will deliver an insightful keynote presentation titled “Renewables, Hydrocarbons and the Future of the Electric Grid.”
Bryce, whose work has appeared in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal and Austin Chronicle among other publications is the author of six books including his latest, A Question of Power: Electricity and the Wealth of Nations. A summary of the book says that “now more than ever, the fates of nations is determined by electricity.”
He is also the host of the Power Hungry Podcast, the executive producer of the feature-length documentary, “Juice: How Electricity Explains the World,” and the producer of the new five-part docuseries, “Juice: Power, Politics, & The Grid.”

A Professor at Canada’s McMaster University and a leading academic in the field of management, Bontis balances the space between academic rigor and real-life application of business methodologies.
His research has been published in a variety of peer-reviewed journals and he is a sought-after speaker at organizations including the United Nations, Microsoft, IBM and Century21. Bontis will deliver his insights on “Transforming Your Leadership for Peak Performance.”
