After an extensive search and interview process, TVPPA has selected Caleb Hall as the new Director of Education & Training effective October 3, 2022.
Hall began his career as a TVPPA intern in 2012 and over the last decade has assumed positions of increasing levels of responsibility as coordinator and manager for the department. He has worked tirelessly and successfully with retiring director Kim Culpepper and the entire E&T team to grow the scope and size of our offerings both inside and outside the Valley.
Since assuming the role of E&T manager in 2017, Hall has gained valuable insights into his new position, including building relationships with instructors, community colleges and other industry partners, the development of regional training hubs, and day-to-day operations of the department including instructor recruitment and expanded course offerings and curriculum. Additionally, he also played a role in creating content for and promoting the Distributors Insurance safety program and has helped coordinate mutual aid assistance for members in times of need.
“Caleb has a passion for our industry, a drive for excellence and a commitment to meeting our members at their point of need,” said Executive Vice President Danette Scudder, who oversees the education and training department and other member services. “That has proven to be a powerful combination for our association. We embrace his vision to grow our industry-leading approach to educating and empowering workers at all levels of our member systems to grow their capabilities and achieve more.”
Hall will work very closely with Culpepper over the next three months as he prepares to assume the role of director on October 3, 2022.
