TVPPA is proud to announce a unique fleet vehicle purchasing opportunity for our members.
Because vehicle availability has been constrained due to ongoing supply chain challenges, the manufacturer you have always relied on may not have the inventory you need in the near future. To help alleviate these concerns and facilitate access to new fleet vehicles, TVPPA has negotiated a partnership with General Motors (GM) giving us the opportunity to order up to 150 Model Year 2023 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Light Duty trucks for our membership.
These trucks will be part of GM’s manufacturing run that begins spring of 2023, with delivery dates estimated to be mid-year 2023.
We ordered these trucks with standard utility vehicle specifications in mind:
- Truck, ½ ton, extended cab with rear access doors
- Smooth side bed 6.5′ long
- Wheel base of 145″ minimum with a GVW of 6400 lbs. minimum
- All standard factory installed equipment
- Engine: 4.7-liter minimum, V8, Flex Fuel Vehicle (FFV)Transmission:
Automatic with overdrive, 4 x 4 - Paint: Pure White
- Interior: 40/20/40 Split Bench Seat with fold down console; standard light color vinyl
- Cruise Control, power windows, power locks, power brakes, and power steering
While GM allowed us to order up to 150 trucks, if supply chain issues continue, it is possible that only about half of that number could enter production in time for the mid-2023 delivery. Pricing for these trucks is not known at this time and will be released when the trucks are released for manufacturing next spring. All pricing details will be shared with TVPPA members before a commitment is required.
In addition to the Silverado 1500 Light Duty truck, GM has allocated 30 Model Year 2023 Chevrolet Silverado Heavy Duty 2500 and 3500 crew cab trucks to TVPPA with slightly different specifications.
Finally, TVPPA has also been allocated up to 50 Chevrolet Silverado EV trucks in this upcoming October ordering window. We are now building a reservation list to submit when the ordering window opens mid-October. The Silverado is the RST trim level EV and retails at $72,300. Delivery is estimated to be May 2023.
To take part in any of these exciting opportunities, contact TVPPA to get your name added to the reservation list for the specific truck you want. These lists are non-binding, in that you are not obligated to buy the trucks next spring when the list is activated. Being on the list simply provides you the opportunity to buy a truck when it is released.
