As billions of dollars flow from the DOE, EPA, DOT, and state governments, opportunities abound for beneficial electrification – that is the use of electricity for purposes that save consumers money, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, improve quality of life, and support a more resilient and robust grid. The Beneficial Electrification League works with community-owned power companies to support those goals and to help them address the opportunities and challenges that come along with the rapid expansion of industrial electrification.

With a focus on those opportunities, the Tennessee Electrification Leadership Summit will facilitate conversations on issues related to electrification and efficiency including topics like electric transportation, economic development, and the emerging opportunities and challenges that come with new loads. They will also share tips on maximizing the impact of IRA direct/elective pay tax credits while the window is open. We hope you can join us to learn and network with your peers and colleagues.
