Join TVPPA, TVA, and EPRI August 28-29 at the Embassy Suites in Murfreesboro, Tenn., for a two-day workshop focused on how local power companies can more fully utilize AMI in their distribution operations.
Topics for this event were selected by LPC leaders. The interactive workshop will allow LPC staff to learn from one another and other industry leaders as discussions focus on how LPCs can leverage AMI technology to modernize the Tennessee Valley’s electric grid and align with TVA’s Regional Grid Transformation and Valley Vision 2035 goals.
On day one of the workshop, representatives from Honeywell, Landis + Gyr, Sensus and Tantalus will demonstrate and discuss the capabilities of their respective technologies while day two will feature two tracks allowing LPC staff to collaborate and share their experiences using AMI. In the morning, attendees can choose from Track One, Deploying AMI Systems or Track Two, Advancing AMI Value for Existing Deployments. In the afternoon, both groups will reunite to hear utility and EPRI presentations covering topics related to utilizing AMI in operations. Vendors will be excluded from hearing other vendor presentations. Day two sessions will be open only to utility employees.
This event is free for LPC staff and includes a catered lunch on both days. You can get more details, including a full agenda, and register here.
