TVPPA’s six-course Utility Security Professional (USP) certificate program can give you the professional knowledge and expertise to identify security threats and implement response plans to mitigate the likelihood of crimes against utility properties. Earning your USP certificate begins with the first class in the series, De-escalation Tactics and Skills, April 4 at TMEPA in Brentwood, Tenn.
Two additional courses in this program will be offered in 2023: Physical Security Measures, July 25-26, and Workplace Violence and Active Shooters, September 12-13; both classes will also be taught at TMEPA. The three additional courses required to earn the USP certificate will be offered in 2024.
